For many years, PVI Volleyball has coordinated with the Side Out Foundation (SOF) to raise funds to support research and treatment of metastatic breast cancer. While this is the most advanced form of the disease, it is the least funded area of research. SOF funds and manages its own clinical research, in addition to educating communities, raising funds and sharing information intended to help people with breast cancer regain control of their lives. This year, our Freshman, JV and Varsity teams are hosting a Dig Pink night on October 22 during their matches against Holy Cross at 4:00pm, 5:00pm and 6:15pm respectively. We invite the PVI community to join us not just by coming to the matches, but also by helping us to reach our donation goal of $2000 to the Side Out Foundation to help fight metastatic breast cancer.
